Never forget- there are Zero...... LaRue, LWRC, Stag, Spikes, PSA, Daniel Defense,Mega/ Ma Ten,DPMS, DelTon, S&W, Ruger or Armalite rifles in the hands of the US military in any combat field.
In essence, they are all backyard militia grade guns.
The LMT 308 are being used by the British military.
So, I can offer a little deference to the Colt guys and the KAC folks. Not to mention, the boogie men get their choices, and some Sig units are in their hands.

The Best way to deter this nonsense stuff? Get to a range day, or take a carbine class and hand over your rifle to some skeptics. Hint; The minute they shoot it, they understand that in the end, it's all just another rifle.
