Occasionally something will occur to me that really drives home how fast time goes by. Here is an example. I bought this 4-screw M29 from an Alaskan bush pilot 40 years ago. I remember answering the ad in the paper and going to the guy's house like it was just last month. He kept it in his Super Cub in a leather holster. It had obviously gotten damp a lot as it had a few freckles here and there and there was blueing wear, but it hadn't been fired much. I changed that by running thousands of rounds through it, mostly the Keith load which is all I used for a long time. I packed it on hunting and backpacking trips for years. This revolver is semi-retired now, but it is just as good as it ever was.
