I am working hard to refrain from more buying right now, and if I were to slip, the 3.5" which I have already noted to be very attractive is the least practical FOR ME. I agree $700 is a good starting point. If you don't have a .38/.357, this is a pretty good one and I encourage you to consider keeping it.

Side issue: If you are considering an AR platform, do some more research on forums dedicated to serious use of the AR platform. (10-8forums.com and lightfighter would be my suggestions - NOT arfcom.) I think you will find that other makes will get suggested. I have been very happy with my BCM EAG package, one of which was for sale on this forum. There are a lot of very serious people who will advocate that make and model.
