Shovelwrench, I understand what you say about the barrel mounted plunger. I'd never thought about it that way as I assume a straight e-rod on any "prepared" gun, but you make a good point there. The lighter cylinder and crane assembly of the small frame also will be a factor. I also like the idea of a full rib to get your adjustable sights, eliminating the need to mill steel from an already small top strap.
Now as for the grips, we have to convince one of the talented grip makers on this forum that "micro-Cokes" would be a great product to add for us users of I- and J-frames. What about it, folks like DCW, H-44, and some of you others who chime in when we start talking about the joys of "going small?" Another possibility would be I-frame sized Roper targets like a couple of guys have showed off here recently. I know I've got an HFT and an RP that would each benefit from a pair, how about the rest of you?
