Back in the 1980s, when Davidson's was based in Greensboro NC and they'd have a huge sale every December, one year they had a large quantity of two-toned Colt snubs. Some had nickel frames and barrels with blued cylinders, and others were blued frames with nickel cylinders. Davidson's ad claimed that Colt had manufactured them that way but that they hadn't sold well at all. No doubt they're highly collectible these days.
