As you know my Sport is stock with stock sights. Any idea as to mounts for the thing? How high does it have to be mounted to work with the front sight??[/QUOTE]

I find that you need a riser and tall mounts for the right eyesight alignment. You can mount it right on the rail with tall mounts but it hard to get the right sight picture. NcStar makes some, I really like the ones by FAACorp, both available on ebay if you need some links let me know. I am sure some of the mainstream manufacturers make some really nice ones also. As far as with the front sight, you focal plane is so far down range that you never even see it. I ran mine with the standard front sights for a long time. with the 8x32 the front sight wouldnt let me mount the really long scope far enough forward, but anything less than that there is no problems. Trust me the front sight isnt a problem at all.
