Speer/GD makes a short barrel ammo as you've noted. Their loads have historically done very well in testing and on the street. They spend a ton on R&D. BB is a start-up by comparison with no history and an unknown amount of R&D. Since my life could depend on it, I go with the known, proven round, GD's. JMO.
