The only time I've borrowed a gun was during my teenage years. I must have been about 15. I had a 30-30, but it didn't have an optic. My brother in law offered up his that had a scope and I used it most of the season. I felt lucky be using it and took better care of it than I would have my own.

As for me these days, my guns go where I go and this applies to my truck and tools as well. I'll let most anyone try or use one of my guns at the range as long as I'm standing there with them and I'll come along and help if they need my truck. I just feel responsible for what could happen with my firearms and that's a road I don't want to go down.
