Amarino, I hear you. I was in the market for a .357 a few weeks back. A buddy had a Ruger GP100 for a good deal and I mentioned it to my Lt. at work. He proceeds to offer me his Model 28 that he got from the old Chief. It is pristine with original grips. It was a six inch however and I'm fond of fours. The price was right and when I tried the trigger I knew it had to be mine. It's a tack driver too. I regret selling my other Smiths back in the day (got into black guns) but I can rebuild the collection one at a time. Glad to hear you enjoying that 28.
