Long as we're talkin' about bobbed single actions, I have to say I like 'em shorter rather than longer. This is an old 3 screw Ruger Super Blackhawk that I chopped several years ago, replaced the grip frame and cylinder pin and did a few other odds 'n ends. The picture ain't much good, and it sure ain't as purty as Dave's scratched up guns, but it's a thumper for sure. It really likes the 300 gr. bullets and I believe it shoots better now than it did when it was new.
