His pancake holsters run $33. You're not going to find Ed's quality at double that price. His leather products are usually cheaper than some of the cheap nylon stuff that's out there. Turn around time is about 1 week. Ed uses really heavy leather. The one pictured below he made for me in 1999. I wore it on duty everyday for several years and it's still like the day he made it. His stuff holds its shape. The one on his website with the S&W 63 he made for me a couple of years earlier. It's actually had harder use that the Glock holster below. I wear it when hunting so it's been drug thru all kinds of weather and brush and still looks like new.
You won't be disappointed with his leather. If it's not perfect Ed won't let it leave his shop.
If you decide on Ed and if he doesn't have a mold for a 457 let me know and Ed can borrow mine.
