I witnessed one of these accidents that happened just so. In fact, he hit the car in front of me head on; just lucky the other car got to the previous intersection before me and had the right of way at the stop sign and pulled out ahead of me or it would have been me.

It was on a residential back street and when I saw him come over the rise he was already in the wrong lane . . . the lady in the MERCEDES saw him coming and actually stopped as far over in her lane as she could get (with me stopping behind her) and he traveled almost 30 yards after she stopped before he hit her, never once touching the brakes. Totaled the Mercedes SUV and broke her leg. 16 years old in a brand new Grand Cherokee and TEXTING.
