You're off to a good start with the 9mm. Like you said you can always get another gun in 40. I like my Sigma 9mm and I was going to get a Sigma 40 also but my range's suppliers had a back log on them and I got tired of waiting so I got the Sig P250c in 40sw they had on sale. Turned out to be a sweet gun.
Both of them shot with out any issues so they're both keepers. I don't care what they said about the triggers, they can be learned.

Yeah, I've got no regrets in getting the 9mm. I could have easily had them order me a 40SW and picked it up at a later date but we all see the decision I went with.
As far as the trigger, I've put 150 rounds through it as well as about 100 or so dry fires and its already noticeably different from when I brought her home. I really can't complain about that.
The only complaint I have is not having enough range time!
