I've been a Glock Armorer for several years and own a G27 (my EDC until the Shield .40 came along), G23, G17, G36, and G21. Also own a M&P .45 that I had to send back to Smith for an extractor adjustment, out of the box.

I never had a failure or issue with a Glock since I've owned one, 12 years with the G27. The M&P .45 has a horrid trigger IMO, especially after shooting a Glock. My G21 .45 with tac light is my home defense primary gun.

Now the Shield .40 comes along, great feel, reliable, excellent trigger out of the box, and manageable recoil. My old G27 now is second team to the Shield...Unless I have to go to a big city, then the G27 with a G23 mag gets the nod.
