IMHO both are quality, proven reliable firearms. I have shot both regularly.

For me it all comes down to ergonomics. The M&P just "fits" my hand better and the grip angle of the M&P is more comfortable. Hense I shoot better with the M&P.

For me it all comes down to personal preferance and comfort, especially when competing on dynamic courses like IDPA and USPSA.
