Actually, a very high scope mount, with most .22 ammo, will result in a much smaller change, if any, in 25- and 100-yard zeros. And it also gives lots of room for a cheek pad, if you want, while there's about none at the normal height. I'm not using a high setup, and it may look awkward, but I can see it actually working quite well. And that's probably what he's after. :-)
