I've burned up a gob of tula, wolf, S&B, brown & silver bear in my mixmaster parts gun. I have had fired cartridge cases stuck in the chamber several times... BUT it occured on 90+ degree temps after going through 7-8 magazines pretty quick (heat off the float tube would burn your fingers) doing drills and I had neglected to clean the chamber after my last range session. Steel case, dirty chamber, high ambient temp, and a cookin' barrel = stuck case in my carbine. Haven't had one stick as long as I keep the chamber clean. Angel didn't piss in my musket..... failed out of neglect.

Would the steel cased stuff be my first choice for social work.... no. But with good maintenance it works fine for practice.
