Sorry you had a bad experience. I live in Lexington and visit Bud's a couple of times a week, usually just to use their range, but it is usually a madhouse in there. It is the only real decent gun shop in the Central Kentucky area, and they always appear to be swamped with customers in the store and WAY understaffed. I think it may just be a case where that the left hand (online customer service) is just not very aware what the right hand (people buying in the store itself) is doing. I can say from firsthand experience that the guys in their Military and Law Enforcement gun sales are top notch, but I can't speak for anyone else.
