Hey now! What do you have against those alligator shirts, anyway? I have a couple of those, somewhere. But my favorite one of that type is from Disneyland/world/whatever and has a Mickey Mouse emblem instead of the alligator. I usually wear it whenever big shots are visiting. Always makes me feel better.

I am with the OP. I dislike the cheap-looking medallion, too, but you can hardly make a set of Pachmayr grips look worse, so, I guess bottom-line, FT is right - it doesn't make much difference.
