I like having iron sights available because while shooting friendly "competition" with a friend or new acquaintance, it's not fair that I shoot a red dot or scope while they only have iron. I like to be able to adapt, depending on the targets and those I'm shooting with. That's why I got the 15-22 MOE, so the folded sights are always available, with or without my red dot on a QR mount, or I can mount my QR scope. In seconds, I have any of the 3 available, and it works well for me.

It takes me longer to change my shooting glasses than it does my sights (need corrective lenses with the red dot, can't use them with the iron sights).
