Actually, some Radoms were indeed issued to the German
Kriegsmarine. This information is in William York's excellent and detailed book "VIS Radom." I did an article on the the Radoms which appeared in the September, 2012 issue of Dillon's
Blue Press. You can get it by calling Dillon at (602) 223-4570 and asking for that back issue. I also did an article on the Astra 600/43 and its history which will be in a future issue.
