I have a fixed 4X Nikon on my Browning BL22 and it's been the perfect medicine for gray squirrels.
I've always been a believer that there's no sense spending good money on a quality rifle just to put cheap glass on it. I have several rifles where the glass mounted on them cost nearly what the gun cost. But, one exception has been the BARSKA 3x9 with IR reticle I put on my Ruger 10/22. I have been very pleased and impressed with this $75.00 scope.
