A friend called me this evening wanting to sell me his Model 12 20 gauge. This gun was made around 1927 and has a solid rib. However, it does have an old recoil pad on it and may have been refinished(reblued) at one time. It is in excellent mechanical condition and shoots without any problems. Also, it has a medallion inlaid into the grip with the initials of two people on it. Apparently, it was given as a gift from one to the other with a date of 1927 engraved on it also. He is asking $850 for it. Reasonable price for the gun or too high??
