Yes, you goofed, that lever IS the ejector, that's why you are having the problem, and from what I can see in the pics, it appears that these pistols went through an armorer, as the slide stop, safety, and extractor have been replaced.....they appear to be stainless steel new parts....they were probably went through prior to trade in, as they are probably police trade ins......
