Thanks for the suggestions. I'm trying for a similar effect as this , but a finger grooved version for a 686. Different image too, but you get where I am going with it.

On a side note, I tested a 6" 686 with .357mag on Saturday. I'm loving the gun. I'm going to try and trade in my lightly used Taurus 1911 for a chunk off the price. Local shop is out of the 6" for now, but should have more next week. .45acp costs too darn much to shoot often.
