I'm of the opinion that if Eric can pull off a functional, compact, 50-round, double-stack magazine for the 15-22 at a reasonable price, he will kill the sales of the extended-capacity magazines from ProMag, Plinker Tactical and especially the big, bulky drum from Black Dog.

ProMag is also making a 50-round drum but as far as I know, it's only for Ruger's 10/22 and lives up to the reputation of ProMag's metal magazines.
