option 1 - small piece of paracord either around the tube or through the mount that currently won't work.
option 2 - A QD socket for the ACS. This location makes the rifle hang a little lower in single-point, but would be cheap and easy.

option 3 - ( what I would do) Get a tube mounted sling adapter like the one you mentioned. Those ones do work with the 15-22. I prefer the Troy pro grade mount because it's rotation limited, and looks smooth on the 15-22. It required a little fitting, but was worth it IMO.
