I have been gathering parts, and have them all now to install a S&W1.5-6x28mm scope with a Leupold Clasic Hand gun scope mount & rings, which requires drilling & tapping three holes in the frame. I chose this set up as it looks to be the most solid, trouble free Mount I have seen.
Now, I am agonising over whether to drill&Tap the frame. and in so doing, ruining the collectors value of the gun, which hasn't a flaw on it, or keeping it pristine. Should I do it, or not?
