The best factory ammo you can get for the 10mm comes from Doubletap or CorBon. As other posters have said the 10mm is a magnum power level cartridge that falls between the .357 and the .41 in power range. A lot of the main stream ammo out there from Federal or Winchester will not be loaded to full potential, but the Silvertip from Winchester is about the best. If you want a pistol that has some umph, this would be the caliber to get.

The DoubleTap name has been tarnished in recent years. There are multiple Youtube chronograph videos from various sources showing their rounds are underpowered by as much as 300fps off of claims. Avoid.
Underwood Ammo is where 10mm is at. They equal or exceed claims.
