A buddy of mine has a model 1928 Thompson sub machine gun. Its worth about $20,000.00. After shooting that, a bump fire/ slide fire .22
just wouldnt cut it. Half the fun of full auto is just trying to control the gun, and the thrill comes from feeling that recoil push you back, and seeing the flame shoot out of the barrel and cutts compensator. There is no way a 22 could even compare, so I have no desire to get one for my 15-22. Now if you never shot full auto I could see wanting something like this, but it really is a poor substitute. Shot a BAR and an MP-40 couple of times too at a show. had to pass on the flame thrower..cost too much to shoot
