My first good handgun was a convertable single six that I bought in 1960 or 1961. My house was burglared about 10 years later and I lost it. I found another that looked new in the box about 10 years ago. This one was made in 1959. Those early ones have a bore that is strictly for .22 lr.. Not like the later ones made a thousance bigger to accomidate .22 wmrf (one bore fits all). They should be more accurate than the later ones.
