I do carry my 1911's chambered, cocked and locked. But i prefer the CZ pistols with the double action on the first shot chambered of course ahead of time. I think the CZ's are the safest carry pistols. Revolvers are no problem to carry.

My choice of CCW carry right now is my new S&W Model 58 in 41mag or my CZ82 in 9mm makarov. I don't carry my 1911's that often.
