Gonna be using mine for mostly ground hog and coyote around my parts. I could use something else but the AR platform is awesome, esp. M&P models, and the .308 round is THE round! Screw that lil .223 pea shooter :P
Little info on ballistics out at 400 yrds, .223 hits in the neighborhood of 350 ft-lbs of force, same distance in .308 equals almost 1600 ft-lbs of force... Winner winner chicken dinner!!!
