My brother just got an M&P 9mm compact and wants a light for HD. He was looking at getting either the S&W Micro90 or the Streamlight TLR-3. Well after reading up on the TLR-3 he came across the TLR-4 with the laser/light combo. We've read some negative reviews about the polymer plastic bracket breaking either while hand tightening and or firing the gun at the range. I did notice that the negative reviews seem to be the older reviews from a couple years back and all the recent reviews seem to be positive. Just wondering if Streamlight maybe resolved the issue. Have any of you ever used the TLR-4 or Micro90 or TLR-3?
