I have put magnas/service stocks (Alimont composite ivorys) on all my S&Ws, from my J-frame to my model 28-2 and 1917. They just look and feel right to me. I bought BK grip adapters because all the "experts" said magnas are worthless and uncontrollable without them...I hate the grip adapters, they just are not for me.
