I shoot 38 super in both of my S&W' model 60-14 and 686.
I have never had a problem with either and they extract very well even though the rim is smaller.
Accuracy is great and I have not had to change any cylinder to accomplish this.
I did find that Winchester is a tiny bit fat and does not want to go into the cylinder, so I shoot them in my 38 super 1911's.
