I'm not a guy that would normally suggest this but: Get a lawyer. It's for sure you have a valid lawsuit against the hotel. I'm sure you'll be just fine but you never know. A donk in the head like that might be costly and troublesome to you for a long time. If it were just embarrassment and not involve a personal injury I'd just laugh it off. You might save somebody's life in a future double booking instance.
