When I had the procedure I got a powder laxative from the pharmacy and mixed it with water. I chugged a big glass every 15 minutes. After a while I was shivering. I was told later that that was caused by the fluids I was losing and I should have drank some water. My advice is to drink lots of water. I never added vodka, but i have heard of other people doing it, just go easy.
