Some things never change... I live about three miles from Eastman, and from my backyard you can see the plumes of smoke rising in the distance. In cold months, even if the skies are clear, it will snow over the plant because of the steam being released from the boilers.

South Holston is my favorite local lake. Bass, crappie, walleye, catfish, trout... it is a great place to fish. Lots of room to move around, and not as many kids on jet skis as Boone or Watauga.
