Until 1953 , all Harleys were foot clutch/hand shift.
Hand clutch/foot shift became an option in 1952-53 and slowly became standard. Ya could still get a foot clutch/hand shift as late as 1978 on special order.
Harley offers a limited paint scheme for police bikes.
Local Police Chief told me the standardized B&W scheme on cars has something to do with
recommendations(?) from the DOJ.
