Revolvers can meet several important considerations, which include being able to put rounds on target and overall shootability.

And, if eight good auto loading rounds is sufficient per gun load, then eight good 38/357's (N frame) should work just as well.

And some smaller autoloaders only carry five, six, or seven rounds per mag. Well, some common 38/357 revolvers have the same capacity.

And, legally, some people are only allowed to carry a revolver. Heh, some are not legally allowed to carry at all...............


FWIW, it wasn't that long ago that men carried multiple large revolvers into battle. One N frame is not that big of a deal (absent medical or similar issues).
