I started to trade back and forth after getting a 640 from my father as a gift. Though now that I have carried that, my semi-auto feel so big and bulky! I don't know if I could go back. I carry a Ruger sp101 3 inch nowadays (don't crucify me! I know this is the S&W forum). I love my 6 inch 686 though, and it has a fascinating story behind it! Once things calm down with my new little one, I will post some pictures and tell the tale.
