Glad I'm not the only one that shoots the Compact better than the Shield. In fact, since buying the XDs45 & already own an M&P Compact I wish I'd never bought the Shield.
No, I don't own an M&P FS... have a Gen 4 Glock 30 for home firewatch duty. I will not deny the M&P ergos is superior to Glock. I digress...
Something about my 9C, the ergos, trigger pull < 5lbs (thx Apex DCAEK), the mag cap, and the grip (w/mag flat base plate) is actually shorter than the Shield's. Yes, 9C is much thicker but IMO the grip length is just as important for CCW.
With that said, for $400 BUY it!
