I search on this topic and didn't see it covered. This looks like a really nice M&P.

Does anyone here have one? Seems like a very desirable gun. 60 in production with over 250 on the list to get one. Looks like one on gunbroker went for 4 times it's original cost. Over $6000!

I saw a used one of these on gunbroker currently bid up to like 6.5k...sadness

Nice...but not $6k nice. That's like paying $180,000 for a car that normally cost $20,000.

I don't get it. Exactly what is necessary about these questionable improvements? This sort of fits in the "**** on a boar" category, although I am sure the machinist/parts replacer can justify every single "improvement." I look on this thing and its price with a raised eyebrow and quite a bit of skepticism. It looks silly also. The price (both the original and the inflated gun broker web site price) should carry a warning that paying it means the buyer needs an IQ test. And I thought a full length guide rod on a 1911 was the pinnacle of silliness. LOL.

For that gun broker price, buy two standard M&P 9 full size pistols, quite a bit of ammo and a new refrigerator for your kitchen (your wife will get on board with the "his and hers" guns, the ammo and new fridge). :)

Does it clean and lube itself? Looks like a stupid salient arms gun

looks like the buyer was over indulging when he bid it in, refused to pay, and it has been relisted.

Chris Costa is a master firearms instructor. Worked for Magpul and other industry leaders. https://www.facebook.com/Official.Chris.Costa Still would not compel me to buy a 6k M&P. I have a tough time justifying spending 2-3k on a custom 1911. Could buy a M&P, lots of ammo, and something for the wife and kids. I would be just fine with a standard M&P.

There isn't a single handgun on this planet that I'd pay $6K for and I have some expensive handguns. I'll bet it doesn't shoot any better than my M&P 45.
