You are correct. And you can bet that WalMart suppliers are licking their chops waiting for those term contracts to end.

Ammunition and reloading supplies will never return to pre-December 2012 prices.
My advice is to BE PREPARED and get in line for a reloading press now. When you find any viable pistol powder for $25 a pound,
jump on it! If you find small pistol primers, either regular of magnum, for $40,
jump on it! If you find bullets in your caliber for $25 ,
jump on it! Look in the classifieds for brass, pick up brass, beg, borrow or steal brass.
It'll not spoil, and you may need to be a bit patient. But you should get started NOW!
