Nothing odd about it and most instructors I know think you should be familiar with all action types.Now if I go back to something other than a DA/SA it will be to one of my 1911s.The reason people like striker fired pistols is that they are for lack of better words too lazy to practice the DA/SA transition and master the DA pull.To quote Ernest Langdon Fear Not The Double Action.And the Military must agree because the main issued side arms are DA/SA Berettas and Sigs.
