I have a Md. 26 in stag with a custom end cap that my brother purchased in the 80's from A.G. Russell, he used is as his hunting knife for a number of years. When he moved on to the happy hunting ground I picked it up and have used it ever since. Great knife, and always a good conversation starter.

That said, if you can find the Blackjack copies of a Md. 1 you can have use a great knife without feeling like you are flushing money every time you put in on your belt.
