I've seen this before somewhere. Seems like a much better option than either the Desantis OR the Barami. With them you only have a 1/2"-1" long plastic paddle holding the gun in place. With this you get an inch and a half of spring steel holding it in place. My only concern would be if it might damage the finish. I guess you could clamp a little square pad of cloth (like t-shirt material maybe) between the clip and the sideplate to prevent it from marring the finish on your gun.
