Put the ejector rod in a drill chuck, place at least three spent cases into the cylinder, and tighten the rod (left hand threads), snugging it up, but don't use brute force when doing so. If it still continues to loosen, use a SMALL amount of blue Loctite on the threads, but I have never had to use the Loctite myself.
