Had 3 New 686's and all 3 hung up when shooting Nobel ammo. Took them to a certified Smith armorer and had the hammer nose replaced. Didn't have to send them in. BTW that ammo was very hot. Primers backed out and hung up the cylinder. Probably didn't happen on all L frames but did on those 3. JM2CW
